Art and Design Program
Aidi launched the International High School of Art and Design to meet the demands of those who dream of going to top international art and design universities around the world. For students who are especially gifted in, or aspire to succeed in the world of art and design, and that value the benefits of studying in a bilingual environment, it's the perfect choice. Art is an incredibly useful subject to study and understand. Art provides students with a bedrock of understanding and creative thinking that helps shape a different view of the world. The creative, critique and analysis skills learned in art can be very beneficial to understanding and challenging many other areas of life and will be a crucial building block in students' future endeavours.
One important characteristic of the Art and Design program is that the students will be pushed to self-critique their own work. They will be aided through self-directed projects that will force them to reconsider what art practice consists of. They will be given unique and challenging projects that will reconstruct their thinking process, which in turn will not only be beneficial in their artistic endeavours, but also for other forms of learning and creativity.
